Two Distinct Business Units for Maximum Impact

 

Initially focused on photonics, Sentronic began by developing sensors and analyzers for medical and industrial applications. Over the years, two specialized divisions emerged, shaping our strategic direction:

 

• Sentronic Spectroscopy – Today known as Sentronic.eu, this division has been a trusted partner to leading pharmaceutical companies since the mid-2000s, providing NIR PAT solutions for the oral solid dose (OSD) manufacturing sector. For over 20 years, our NIR PAT systems have set the industry standard for continuous OSD manufacturing.
• Sentronic Sensors – Originally launched with optical fluorescence sensors for oxygen measurement and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensors for hydrogen detection, this unit has evolved into a leader in sensor development and manufacturing.

Our end-to-end development and core technology production processes are entirely in-house—covering every stage, from optical design and electronics to housing development, software engineering, and innovative user interfaces. This comprehensive approach enables us to seamlessly integrate all components into high-performance sensor solutions. From dye synthesis to the fabrication of sensitive spots in our own chemical laboratories and cleanrooms, we maintain full control over quality and innovation. This vertical integration ensures independence, precision, and technological leadership, reinforced by a strong portfolio of international patents.

 

Over the years, we have successfully pioneered numerous OEM developments, including:
✅ pO₂ sensors for high-resolution breath-by-breath oxygen measurement (30ms resolution in mainstream applications).
✅ Dissolved oxygen (DO) sensors for trace-level oxygen detection in industrial applications (e.g., acrylate production).

• Hypiac – Our dedicated brand for process measurement and control solutions in aquaculture, offering advanced monitoring technologies for sustainable water management.
